Microwave, Toaster and Oven : Which one that I need?

Microwave uses certain radio waves which aim to heat particular types of molecules in food, such as fat, water and bone. The Types of Microwave : Varied by Size, Power and Function

Microwave by Size : compact (0,9 cubic feet or less), mid-size (1,0 – 1,4 cubic feet) and full-size (1,5 cubic feet or more). Bear in mind that this is not a general standard–not all microwaves is cube-shaped, there is also tall, narrow and broad microwaves.

Microwave by Power : The compact one ranges between 600 to 800 watts. Mid-size and the large one ranges between 900 to 1650 watts.

Microwave by Function : Solo microwave is best for reheating and simple cooking. Grill microwave is for reheat and grill. Convection microwave is best for reheat, grill and bake.

How to Keep Your Microwave Clean

Food and hygiene are inseparable–we all know how important it is. • Cover your food with microwavable container or other microwavable items like lid, ceramic plate, or papel tower when using microwave
• Make sure the covered container allow steams to escape, so there’s no steams explosion that could stain your microwave

• Clean up any splatter, spills, crumbs rightaway to avoid ill-rotted smell

And here’s a method that you could try in order to clean your microwave (don’t forget to consult with the manual specific clean instruction) :

1. Fill a microwavable bowl with a water halfway. There will be some boiling and splash of water, so this is important to keep your microwave safe during the cleaning process
2. Slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water or you could just add two tablespoons of baking soda into it
3. Put the bowl in the microwave and set it high for 2-5 minutes or until boiling and producing some steams
4. Leave to stand for about 5 minutes or so. Keep the door shut, because we want to keep the steams inside in order to clean and disinfect all the stains and germs.
5. Prepare your own safety. You could use your rubber or any isolator-material slippers, unplug your microwave, anything that could prevent you from getting electrocuted–just in case.
6. Remove the bowl and carefully use warm, damp, sponge/microwavable table cloth to wipe the insides and the door of the microwave.
